Measuring Your Pet
1. Measure your pet from base of the neck to base of the tail. This is the
length.
2. Measure your pet's chest at its widest point, which is usually behind the
front legs, this the girth.
If your dog is stouter, has a thick coat, broader chest, wider
underside or is at the maximum for the size chart you may want to go up to the
next larger size for a looser fit. Please note the next size up will fit up to
the largest size range listed. If your dog size is not in the chart above you will have a larger or smaller fit depending on which size you choose.

Picture is Kini a 5 year old Papillon, weighing 5 lbs, 11" Length, 13.5" Girth and she is wearing a size XSmall. We chose an XSmall because of her girth, even though her length should be a Small. The XSmall was shorter in length, but fit the girth, the Small was too long and too wide.
